How do I know when my next oil change is due?
An oil change is due at whichever limit comes first: a mileage (often 10,000 to 30,000 km depending on the oil and engine) or a time period (usually one to two years). To work it out you need the date and mileage of the last oil change: the due point is the nearer of the two limits. Your carmaker's service schedule gives the exact values for your engine.
